Thanks to its monolithic structure, Solana is able to process thousands of transactions per second, which is 3000% more than Ethereum, and the number of daily active users is 1300% higher. Solana network transaction fees are almost 5 million times cheaper.
The study notes that Solana has a significant advantage over Ethereum in payments and transfers, especially for stablecoins. However, institutional investors are not yet in a hurry to switch from ETH to the younger Solana.
