Bitwise has taken a step toward launching an XRP ETF by establishing a Delaware trust.
This could be a precursor to filing for an ETF with the SEC, although no corresponding documents have appeared in the SEC’s EDGAR database yet. While Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs were recently approved, an XRP ETF could face challenges due to the SEC’s cautious stance.
Bitwise’s move might represent further integration of digital assets into traditional finance, though the regulatory process could be lengthy.
