The police successfully rescued Ledger co-founder David Balland and his wife, who were kidnapped on January 21. The criminals demanded a cryptocurrency ransom from another co-founder of the company.
Part of the ransom was paid but was frozen and confiscated. During the operation, 10 suspects were arrested, seven of whom will face trial.
Balland sustained a hand injury, while his wife, despite no physical injuries, is under medical observation due to stress.
